I would really appreciate some help on this!
Project is on symmetry in images: 2 groups of participants(total N=200) look at images of 8 animals, (1st group in original orientation. 2nd group in a reverse orientation).
They were asked to fill in a table of 10 positive & 10 negative characteristics on 10 dimensions (i.e. brave -timid, slow-fast, etc, and vice versa for the reverse group). These were scaled at +3, +2, +1, 0, -1, -2,-3 and reverse coded for the reverse group.
How can I represent these variables in the variable editor? without having a million variable cells on the data sheet?

Is this correct understanding? Both groups the scales are the same and if do a freq on each would actually see the same + to - results even though G2 see a reversed scale on entry (e.g., -3 is actually coded as a +3)?
