 Post subject: Merging Select Values from different SPSS files

I have this master file with about 3500 hundred variables, and i am trying to add only select variables from two other SPSS files; 20 from one file and 6 from another file. How can I select the variables (and their data) from one of the incomplete files to add to the master file.

Also, I need to put them in a specific order, just to make sure they are after the appropriate variable in the master file.
